Design & Construction
The Medeina shawl is worked top-down, starting from the center and expanding outwards. The intricate lace edging is added last, creating a stunning final touch. Note that the lace patterns are provided in chart form only, making it a delightful challenge for intermediate knitters.

Materials You'll Need
To create your own Medeina shawl, you'll need approximately 910 yards of fingering-weight yarn. The sample shown uses Sweet Paprika Messa di Voce, color Emerald City. You'll also need a US Size 3 (3.25mm) circular needle (24" or longer), stitch markers (8), a yarn needle, and pins for blocking.
